Questions

New here? Good.

How much caffeine is in Superboba?

It depends on the tea. Our estimates run from about 25 mg (Hojicha) to about 90 mg (Classic and HK Milk Tea) per 4 g serving, about 2 tsp. An 8 oz brewed coffee has about 95 mg.

Want less? Use 1 tsp for about half.

Which tea is best if caffeine hits me hard?

Start with Hojicha, our gentlest. Genmaicha is next. You can also use 1 tsp instead of 2.

Pregnant, nursing, or sensitive to caffeine? Check with your doctor first.

Is it sweet?

Lightly. We sweeten with dates, with no refined sugar. Want it sweeter? Add your favorite sweetener. It arrives unfinished on purpose, so you're the barista.

Is it dairy-free?

Yes. The tea is vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Add any milk you like: oat, soy, almond, or dairy.

Can I drink it hot or iced?

Both. Every tea works hot or iced.

How many cups are in a bag?

About 20 servings.

Can I switch teas later?

Yes. On a subscription you can swap teas, skip, or cancel before your next billing date.
